Saha Group taps global AI partners for digital push
Saha Group makes a major move into AI and digital transformation
E-commerce Digital Thai Holding Plc (EDTH), the digital investment arm of Saha Group, has signed a memorandum of understanding with TrueBusiness, EGG Digital, and Japan's SoftBank Corp to accelerate the adoption of AI, big data, and digital technologies across the conglomerate's businesses.
The agreement aims to jointly develop AI-driven business solutions, modernise digital infrastructure, and create new digital platforms. The focus areas include improving operational efficiency, customer engagement, and supply chain management across Saha Group's wide range of businesses.
Each partner brings specific strengths to the alliance. EDTH will serve as the strategic coordinator, overseeing the development of a shared digital platform that allows Saha Group companies to adopt AI solutions more efficiently. It will also lead proof-of-concept projects and pilot programmes. TrueBusiness contributes telecom and enterprise technology capabilities, EGG Digital brings expertise in AI-powered analytics and digital marketing, and SoftBank adds global experience in AI, enterprise solutions, and digital innovation.
Surat Wongrattanapassorn, director of EDTH, described the partnership as a step toward placing technology and innovation at the centre of Saha Group's long-term strategy. He noted that innovation has become a key competitive differentiator and that the alliance is intended to help group companies adopt AI and digital tools in practical ways that generate sustainable business value.
The collaboration is designed to span the full digital value chain, covering connectivity, cloud computing, AI applications, customer analytics, omni-channel marketing, enterprise collaboration, and digital commerce. Mr Surat noted that the partnership reflects a broader trend among Thailand's leading conglomerates to embed AI into core operations as businesses work to improve productivity and remain competitive in a data-driven economy.
For business owners and investors operating in Thailand, developments like this signal the increasing pace at which large Thai enterprises are integrating AI and digital infrastructure into their operations, which can shape the competitive landscape across multiple industries.
